The Living Crafts Show focuses on customary items. The authors build on this extremely interesting artistic phenomenon of folk art, attempting to reintegrate folk customs and habits into contemporary life and thus preserve the value of this cultural heritage. They translate abstract values such as gratitude, transience, compassion or the wish to be loved into objects that surround us and that we use every day. In addition to their practical or decorative function, the resulting objects may also invite interaction with them, reflection or a brief glimpse into the self. Ceremonies, symbols and messages can thus return to our lives in a new form and invite us to stop quietly in the middle of the world.
