The inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1995 became a crucial moment in the modern history of Kutná Hora. Through the long-term efforts of many representatives of the state authorities, the municipal government and private owners and churches, the most valuable things have been preserved and restored. It is understandable that there are still many other monuments in need of urgent repair, and the city as a whole requires a sensitive approach to further development.

However, it can certainly be rightly stated that Kutná Hora has retained its unique character and expression and consolidated its permanent position among the most important historical settlements in Europe.
